Q: What Credit cards does Cumberland accept?
A: Visa and MasterCard only.
Q: How do I make payments via Credit Card?
A: To charge your insurance premiums using your MasterCard or Visa, just call our Customer Service Department weekdays between 8:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. at 1-800-232-6992 (Option 5) and give us your MasterCard or Visa information. PLEASE NOTE: For privacy concerns, do not mail or fax credit card information to our Company.
Q: How long will it take Cumberland to process my credit card payment?
A: Your payment will be processed immediately if called in to our company by 4:00 p.m. If called in after 4:00 p.m. your payment will be processed the following day. Payments made before 7:30 p.m. EST Monday through Friday will post to your account that night. Payments made Saturday and Sunday will post to your account the night of the next business day.
* Payments are not processed on New Year's Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and any other company holidays.
Q: Can a partial payment be paid by credit card?
A: No, the full balance or entire installment amount must be paid when paying by credit card.
